Grappling is a fun mechanic! When you really get going it feels nice and fluid. Unfortunately, I was also unable to understand how gas worked. Overall I enjoyed playing your game! :)
How do I use gas? Space does nothing. I can't get passed the spiked. I expect to be able to shorten the grapple with W+S but it only ever shortens if I run into something.

It will probably work if you have both grapples out at once
